Transition to Teaching ProgramThe Indiana State University Transition to Teaching program (T2T) provides individuals who possess a bachelor's degree in business from an accredited institution of higher learning the opportunity to earn licensure certification to teach middle school and high school business courses in the state of Indiana. Admission to this program is made through the School of Education. In the interview with the Business Education Program Coordinator, you will be asked to demonstrate your skill at keyboarding by touch. You should be capable of touch-typing at a minimum of 25 words per minute on a five-minute timing with five or fewer errors. (If you currently do not possess the skill to meet this standard, you are advised to enroll in a class that will provide you with this capability before entering the program. These classes are available though local community colleges and business schools.) The Business Education Transition-to-Teaching Program requires one ON-CAMPUS course, BEIT 592, Methods of Teaching Business Subjects. If you have any
