The Indiana State University Archives and Records Center collects, preserves, exhibits and makes available records that document the history of the University community. The collections are made up of the organizational and development records of the University through the permanent records created and received by University departments and offices
The Records Management Program is administered through the University Archives. University departments and offices are encouraged to review their internal records management practices on a regular basis. The University Archives is the designated repository of official records of Indiana State University.
Additional records from faculty, administrators, students, alumni, and friends of ISU help to complement and diversify the collection holdings.
These collections are maintained for a variety of research needs by University administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and interested citizens.
The Archives is the repository for University records and provides aid to departments, offices and organizations in establishing a records program that will provide an opportunity to identify those records with legal, intrinsic or historical value. We also help in developing record schedules for regular records maintenance
The University Archives accepts donations of collections and other material, memorabilia, or documentation that provides a link to the history of the University community.
