Alan C. Rankin Memorial
Distinguished Senior Award
The Alan C. Rankin Memorial Award recognizes outstanding members
of the Senior Class who have contributed to the betterment of
campus life at Indiana State University. Individuals selected
demonstrate dedicated membership and leadership in campus
organizations, as well as in the community. They show the desire
and follow-through in improving Indiana State University and
assisting in the success of all who know them. They continue to
live up to the ideals and values of Indiana State University.
Qualifications
- Applicants for the Alan C. Rankin Award must have completed a
minimum of 93 hours.
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 grade point average.
- Applicants must also write a brief essay describing their
most significant contributions to Indiana State University.
- Applicants must also submit two brief letters of
recommendation. One written by a faculty member and the other
from an individual familiar with the applicant's involvement in
extracurricular activities is also required.
Outstanding Junior Award
The Outstanding Junior Award was established by the Student Alumni
Association to recognize men and women for their outstanding
achievement, service to their class, and for living up to the
ideals and values of Indiana State University.
Qualifications
- Applicants for the Outstanding Junior Awards must have
completed a minimum of 63 hours and a maximum of 93 hours.
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 grade point average.
- Applicants must also write a brief essay describing their
most significant contributions to Indiana State University.
- Applicants must also submit a brief letter of recommendation
written by a faculty member or an individual familiar with the
applicant's involvement in extracurricular activities is also
required.
