Handbooks Useful in Developing an Assessment Process:
American Accounting Association: Assessment for the New Curriculum: A Guide for Professional Accounting Programs. http://aaahq.org/AECC/assessment/chap1.htm At the end of Chapter 1, click “continued” to proceed to Chapter 2, etc. This is a very detailed handbook that would be useful for almost everyone. Most of it is not specific to accounting.
University of Massachusetts Amherst: Program-based Review and Assessment. This handbook provides a comprehensive overview of the assessment process.
Walvoord, Barbara E.: Assessment Clear and Simple. This handbook provides a less comprehensive but still very helpful overview of learning outcomes assessment.
