Assessment Resources

Handbooks Useful in Developing an Assessment Process:

American Accounting Association:  Assessment for the New Curriculum: A Guide for Professional Accounting Programs.  http://aaahq.org/AECC/assessment/chap1.htm
At the end of Chapter 1, click “continued” to proceed to Chapter 2, etc.
This is a very detailed handbook that would be useful for almost everyone.  Most of it is not specific to accounting.

University of Massachusetts Amherst:  Program-based Review and Assessment.
This handbook provides a comprehensive overview of the assessment process.

Walvoord, Barbara E.:  Assessment Clear and Simple.
This handbook provides a less comprehensive but still very helpful overview of learning outcomes assessment.
