African American Cultural Center

What We Do?

The African-American Cultural Center at Indiana State University is administratively housed within the area of Student Affairs. The Director of the Cultural Center is directly responsible to the Vice President of Student Affairs, who in turn is responsible to the President of Indiana State University. Additional staffing include one graduate assistant to the African-American Cultural Center, one full time administrative assistant, and several work study students.

The assistant to the director works on specific projects, advises, attends meetings, assists in the supervision of the facilities; thus, in general shares the responsibilities of the Director of the African American Cultural Center. The offices in the African-American Cultural Center are located in the building adjacent to the main traffic flow of students which provide easy access for those students seeking assistance.
